Full disclaimer, if you have the means then you will want to upgrade to a digital piano with weighted keys, which will be covered in a separate article. This is because weighted keys will simulate the weight that you would naturally get from an acoustic piano which builds finger strength and in general, will be better for building solid piano technique.
If you are budget-minded and just looking to play around and have fun, and not so concerned about becoming the next Horowitz for you or your child, then these pianos will be good enough to get started!
